The holidays are all about giving, and this season, Logan Services was proud to give away an HVAC system for one deserving family in Milford, OH. Cassie and her family were voted for and became the winners of our Great Holiday HVAC Giveaway and received a brand-new Trane HVAC system for their home. Cassie found the contest when she was looking into financing for a system and that’s when she decided to enter.
In her heartfelt entry, she shared the challenges her family faces with their old heating and cooling system:
“We started to have issues with our furnace shutting off. It wouldn’t stay on, especially through the night when the temperature really dropped. I’d wake up throughout the night to reset it to get it to come back on. We had it looked at and it was the control board. It also made the unit run all summer because it kept trying to kick the heat on. Our furnace is so old, the model number and information is gone, so the technician said it would be hard to figure out the parts. With the age and condition, it wasn’t worth fixing. Well, we have been trying to save, but with three kids, we haven’t been able to get there. I am so worried about not having heat this winter. Getting this replaced would be life-changing and take so much stress off for our family.”
For Cassie, the challenges were all too real. Her furnace was over 25 years old, well beyond it’s expected lifespan, and her air conditioning unit was approaching retirement age as well.
Ready For a New System
Cassie made it to the final round of this contest which consisted of 5 finalists in our Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus service areas. We then gave the finalists to opportunity to reach out to their friends and family to vote for them to become the winner of the new Trane HVAC system. Cassie ran away with the lead quickly and ended the contest with 739 votes. She said that she has amazing friends and family that voted for her to win.
Once the votes were calculated we told Cassie the good news and she was very surprised, saying, “No way! Are you serious?” Our team was also very excited to get in and get that old, outdated system out and the new one in to start their comfort journey. Partnering with Trane, we replaced the old system with a brand-new, energy-efficient Trane system that will keep her family comfortable year-round.
The installation not only provides Cassie and her family with peace of mind but also delivers improved energy efficiency, which will help lower utility bills and keep her home reliably heated in the winter and cool in the summer.
Spreading Comfort and Joy
At Logan Services, we believe in giving back to the community that has supported us throughout the years. The holidays are a time of warmth and joy, and we’re honored to have been able to bring both to Cassie and her family. Cassie told us:
“This has truly been a blessing to our family. To know that not only will we have reliable, safe (being an old gas furnace it made me nervous) heat for our kids has been such a relief but also not facing the financial burden of replacing has been such a tremendous relief. Also, the amazing support we received from our family, friends, and co-workers to help us by voting and sharing was nothing short of incredible! We are truly blessed with such support!“
