Megan entered our Furnace Giveaway for Flyers Fans contest for the second year in a row, telling us about the constant projects (and headaches) that kept coming up in their home of 5 years. From extensive roof repairs to a flooded basement, these homeowners have had their fair share of issues that required their immediate attention and funds.
On top of that, they were dealing with in an old, inefficient furnace that was only reliable for ONE thing: breaking down every winter.
In her contest entry, Megan wrote, “We moved in our new house about 5 years ago and everything possible has went wrong. Our furnace has been acting up the past 3 years and every year we are told we need a new furnace, but it’s just not in our budget at this time. This would help our family tremendously! Thanks for such a great opportunity!”
This family of four deserved to catch a break, and the team at Logan Services was excited to be that change in luck. After receiving hundreds of entries from fans and homeowners in the Miami Valley, Logan Services was delighted to contact this family to share the good news — a new Trane furnace would be installed in their home — FREE OF COST.

Upon visiting the family’s home to ensure we were giving them the correct furnace type/size for their home, our team also learned that they had an 18 year old air conditioner. Because it’s so important to have compatible technology for the heating and cooling equipment, we (and our great partners at Trane) made the decision to gift this family a FREE AIR CONDITIONER with free installation, as well!
Family Traditions As Dayton Flyers Fans
We learned that Megan has been a long-time fan of the Dayton Flyers, and has many fond memories of going to games as a kid (you can see her pictured below in her family fan attire); she now enjoys taking her kids to games, who are actively involved in sports, both volleyball and basketball, in their community.
Two Cool Prizes, One Thankful & Comfortable Family
Megan told us after the installation, “I’m still in shock; never did I think that we would win a furnace AND air conditioning when we were in need. It was definitely a much needed project that wasn’t in our budget right now. We are beyond thankful, and we really appreciate you choosing our family for your giveaway. Our HVAC installers, Mikie and Mike, were awesome and very efficient! Thank you again!”
New HVAC System Installed This Week
We were so excited to get to work and start installing the new equipment in their home. Pictured below, you can see the old equipment has been torn out and ready to be recycled.
Both heating and cooling equipment were lacking in efficiency, so this family is sure to enjoy not only better, reliable comfort, but also savings in utility usage as well! Our HVAC installers, Mikie and Mike, got to work on setting up the new Trane heating and cooling system.
