Since opening the doors of our state-of-the-art HVAC training center in January 2017, Logan Services has been proud to serve hundreds of apprentices with thousands of hours of hands-on, industry-leading HVAC training. Now, our training center has become Trane accredited, a first-of-its-kind honor showcasing Logan Services’ continued commitment to excellence in HVAC education.
At Logan Services, our HVAC training center is known for its outstanding quality and commitment to raising the standards of the entire industry. As a part of our ongoing commitment to leading the way in HVAC education, we are proud to announce that our HVAC Service Apprenticeship has now become Trane accredited.
The Trane apprenticeship accreditation is the first of its kind, showcasing Trane’s commitment to supporting and upholding the training standards that we’ve put in place for our skilled trades recruits. Earning this honor demonstrates Logan Services’ training program has Trane’s backing as the “gold standard” among residential HVAC apprenticeship programs.
As a part of this partnership, Trane has also committed to providing our training center with the latest residential Trane products and tools. This means that our training team gets hands-on experience with the newest technology and advancements in the industry, including access to Trane’s Techbuilder program.
This is a huge differentiator that makes Logan Services a pioneer in this exciting new area, since trade schools often only provide older systems for hands-on training. Here at our training center, our applicants get to learn using the most up-to-date products and technology in all of HVAC.

“My overall experience as an apprentice has been great. Coming into this field without having any experience and being able to learn everything I’ve learned has been fun.
Being with Brad has been great! Ever since day one, he took the time to teach me and made sure I understood how to do the things we needed to do. It made for some long days at the start but paid off in the long run with me understanding how things worked or why we needed to do things a certain way. As time went on, I was able to get better, faster, and we were able to grow and learn together.
Logan having the apprenticeship program makes it even better. With all the support and tools to be able to help you learn, classroom and hands on, is fantastic. You get the best of both worlds.”
Advice: “Learn all you can from the people around you. One way might work better for someone but not work as well for you. Be willing to learn and it will take you to higher places. You’ll be more comfortable with the knowledge you, to tackle anything that comes your way.!”
“My experience as an apprentice HVAC installer, has its ups like easy swap outs of single pieces, and for sure some easy days. But it has its downs as well like having long days, possible broken equipment, or even missing parts. But these are the things you learn along the way, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Bobby was an amazing teacher, and he showed me some great things out in the field. I could never thank him enough! One thing he taught me is that every day is a learning day. You always run into something new or come across something you’ve never seen. I even learned a little plumbing along the way, which was nice to learn.
Logan has made this a very easy and enjoyable process as an apprentice.”
Advice: “Some advice I’ll give future apprenctices is to enjoy your apprenticeship and learn as much as you can and that no questions are dumb questions. Try to be as hands on as you can as the more you do it the easier it is for you to remember. Also, build that trust with your lead. When your lead can trust you, it makes everything easier.”
“My advice for future apprentices is to take your time and learn the knowledgeable that is available to you. Take everyday in stride and be a professional. Try to learn something new everyday, the HVAC industry is changing all the time. Apply yourself and pay attention to the details, also ask as many questions as you need to learn the trade. Stay focused on the goal of becoming a great install technician. Remember this isn’t just a job, it is a great career path that you can take anywhere in the world.”
“I know for a fact that we would not be homeowners, married, and be able to take care of 5 children if it weren’t for the career growth my husband has experienced at Logan Services. I was able to quit my nursing job and start my own business, having flexible hours to take our kids to school, help them with homework, and make dinner each night.”
“Before I started at Logan, I didn’t have any experience in HVAC but knew I wanted to do something hands on. Logan hired me regardless and told me they would train me. When i started with Clay, I was slow, and the days were long, but we were determined to get better. As I kept doing installs, I got better and was able to learn things in a controlled environment thanks to the Saturday trainings.
Everybody has been very supportive in helping me succeed and be as good as I possibly can be. Without Clay’s help I wouldn’t have been able to come as far as I have. Every day he took the time to show me the proper way to do things and why that was the right way to do things.”
Advice: “Have a good attitude and stay determined! There are ups and downs with this job, but there are plenty of resources to help you succeed.”
